2019 – A Year Before Lockdown

SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN – CLOSING 30 NOVEMBER 2020

To celebrate Australian Live Music and to acknowledge the impact COVID19 has had on the music industry, a book that focuses on our local musicians and live music photographers will be produced.

It will be a short-run publication printed by Blurb, with about 240 pages and 300 images. It is expected to cost about $60 to produce each copy, with $20 added to the cost which will go to Support Act.

LICENCE TO USE

Any image submitted falls under the following usage agreement.

• Copyright remains with the photographer
• The publisher of ‘2019 – A Year Before Lockdown’ can use the image within the book
• The publisher can use the image for the purpose to promote the book
• Submitting an image, or the use of an image by the publisher for promotional purposes, does not guarentee that image’s use within the book
• On the approval of the photographer, images included in the book can be made available for print sales via the ‘2019 – A Year Before Lockdown’ website. $10 of each print sale is to go to Support Act
• Images used online will be resized to 1500 pixel @ 300 dpi by the publisher prior to uploading
• Approval for usage from the artist will be the publisher’s responsibility
• Any usage that falls outside of these terms must be approved prior by the copyright holder

SUBMITTING PROCESS

• 20 images per photographer
• Images to be of Australian artists, taken anywhere
• Images to have been taken during 2019 until lockdown
• Filename structure: artist – venue – ddmmyy – photographer
• Images to be hi-res jpeg: minimum 3000 pixel @ 300 dpi
• No watermarks
• Submit via dropbox (kevin@reverbstreetpress.com) or an email download link (hightail/yousendit)

• 1 image of the photographer, to be used on the photographer’s pages within the book
